Our clinic uses a combination of hands-on chiropractic care and supportive equipment to help patients with musculoskeletal concerns. We are not a “machine-led” practice—most treatment is guided by clinical assessment and delivered manually—but we keep specific equipment available when it may be helpful for a particular case.
Chiropractic Treatment Table (Adjusting Table)
Our chiropractic treatment table is designed to support safe, comfortable positioning for both assessment and hands-on care. It helps your chiropractor:
position you securely and comfortably during examination
assess mobility and movement patterns more accurately
deliver manual techniques with stability and control
This is the main piece of equipment used during a typical chiropractic visit, because it supports the core of what we do: careful evaluation and skilled hands-on treatment.
Shockwave Machine
Our shockwave machine is a specialised device used in selected cases to support musculoskeletal care, particularly when symptoms involve soft tissue sensitivity or persistent localised discomfort. The unit delivers controlled mechanical pulses to targeted areas.
In our clinic, shockwave is:
used selectively—not automatically included for every patient
guided by assessment—we only recommend it when it fits your findings and goals
one part of a plan—it may be combined with hands-on care and rehabilitation advice where appropriate
If shockwave is recommended for you, we will explain the intended purpose, what you may feel during the session, and what outcomes we are monitoring over time.
Ultrasound Machine
Our therapeutic ultrasound machine is available as a supportive modality when clinically appropriate. Ultrasound uses sound-wave energy delivered through a handheld applicator to a specific area.
In our clinic, ultrasound is:
not routine—we don’t use it by default
case-dependent—it may be considered when it suits the stage and nature of your condition
supportive—often used to complement hands-on care and home guidance rather than replace it
If your chiropractor suggests ultrasound, we will explain why it may be useful in your case and how it fits within your overall care plan.
